The Halloween season, that is!
Once again, I find myself making an effort to remember everything I’ve said and who I’ve said it to this year. Here’s what I can remember (and this list does not include a number of private talks I gave to various companies and organizations):
- “Spooky Evenings” presented by Wesleyan University
- The University of Tennessee Knoxville’s “Women in Horror” exhibition
- NPR’s “Throughline”
- CNN’s “Margins of Error”
- The Jim Jefferies podcast “I Don’t Know About That”
- “Dave Nemo Weekends” on Sirius XM channel 146
- Spaced Out Radio
- Behind the Spine podcast
- “Preserve Cast” podcast from Preserve Maryland
- The Book Fest Author Conversation with Kate Maruyama
- “Our American Stories” podcast on Halloween
- “Our American Stories” podcast on haunted attractions
- “Not Past It” podcast on Harry Houdini
- Glen Eira Library in Australia
- The Viktor Wynd Museum of Curiosities, Fine Art & UnNatural History in London
- Print interview with The Washington Post
- Print interview for Marketplace (about Halloween waste and environmental impact)
- Print mention in National Geographic article on trick or treat

There were also appearances for private companies and non-profit groups, and probably a few things I’m forgetting! Whew.
